The O’Donovan Clan Cultural Association’s mission is rooted in a simple conviction: our heritage is not only about preservation; it is something to be experienced, shared, and carried forward.

“Connect, Educate, Inspire”
Our Association motto speaks to preserving and sharing knowledge about historic places, artifacts, stories and traditions that connect O’Donovan descendants to their shared past.
However, our mission extends well beyond preservation. We are equally passionate about supporting the creative and cultural contributions of O’Donovan descendants throughout the world—whether as historians, scholars, performers, artists, craftspeople, writers, or simply as individuals with stories and ideas to share.
The O’Donovan Clan Cultural Association serves as a catalyst for a living tradition—one that honors those who came before us, while giving present and future generations the chance to shape what comes next.

Our in-person and digital learning initiatives, gatherings, cultural events and archives not only celebrate the past, but also build connection and encourage collaboration among members of the global O’Donovan diaspora.
By bringing people together across generations and geographical boundaries, we create a forum where knowledge, creativity, experience, and resources can be exchanged, where new ideas and partnerships can emerge.
